Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff: $2180.00. Our professional service charge includes but is not limited to consultation with family and clergy, preparation and filing of necessary notices, authorizations and consents, attendance prior to, during and following the funeral and coordinating with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory and others. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charge for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Embalming: $550.00. Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement which does not require you to pay for embalming, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Other Preparation of the Body: $250.00. This consists of any cosmetics applied, hairdressing, dressing of the deceased and placing the deceased in the casket.

Use of Facilities for Funeral/Church or Chapel Set Up/ Graveside Service: $495.00. Chapel for ceremony/ rite/ service.

Transfer of Remains to Funeral Home: $300.00. Initial removal from place of death or morgue facility.*

Hearse: $300.00. Delivery of deceased to cemetery or place of final disposition.*

Use of Facilities for Viewing (Visitation/Wake)
Visitation room for the afternoon and/ or evening before the service: $200.00

TOTAL SERVICE CHARGE FOR VISITATION AND FUNERAL: $4275.00

*Additional Transportation Outside the Twin Cities Seven County Metropolitan Area or 25 miles from the Duluth Chapel. $2.00 per mile one way.
